Workers vote against union at W. Central Starbucks

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Starbucks says workers at the Tyler and Central location in west Wichita have voted not to join the union. According to Starbucks, the workers voted 13-5 on Wednesday against joining Starbucks Workers United.

The vote has to be certified by the National Labor Relations Board.

In the meantime, Starbucks says it is pleased that workers have chosen to maintain a direct relationship with managers. It calls employees partners.
