Woman seriously injured in single-car crash Tuesday morning

PAWNEE COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — A woman was seriously injured in a single-car crash Tuesday morning in Pawnee County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 37-year-old woman from Larned was driving a 2023 Hyundai Tucson north on 180th Avenue, 300 feet south of River Road.

The KHP says the Hyundai went to the left, crossed the southbound lane and entered into the west ditch. The Hyundai then hit a power pole and rolled one time, coming to a stop on the right side up in a field.

The driver was taken with suspected serious injuries to a medical center. She was wearing a seatbelt.
