Will Chiefs TE Travis Kelce go to Grammys with Taylor Swift?

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) — Popstar Taylor Swift will attend the Grammys this Sunday as she’s nominated for six different awards.

But a big question some people are asking is if her beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, will be attending with her.

Kelce went on the “Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday and revealed his answer to the question.

“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for, but unfortunately, I’ve got to get ready for this big old Super Bowl we got in a week,” Kelce said.

Since the Chiefs have a strict practice schedule, Kelce won’t be able to join Swift at the award show.

The Chiefs have practice on Saturday and then travel to Las Vegas on Sunday for a week of Super Bowl preparations.

Swift is nominated for six Grammys, with the awards show taking place Sunday in downtown Los Angeles.

Swift’s album “Midnights” is nominated for the coveted Album of the Year category and Best Pop Vocal Album. Her song “Karma” is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and her song “Anti-Hero” is nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

In her career, Swift has been nominated for 52 Grammys, taking home 12.

When Swift is not on her “Eras Tour” or taking home Grammy awards, she’s been attending Chiefs games recently, which Kelce said he loves.

“I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the family and friends,” Kelce said Wednesday. “It’s been nothing but a wonderful year, man.”

This isn’t Kelce’s first time on the Pat McAfee Show.

Back in September, he teased on the show that he’d invited Swift to Arrowhead to catch a game. Little did we know, they had already been together for a month.

He told McAfee he knew she was coming to the game all along.
