WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Video from the scene shows several Chiefs fans tackling who they believed to be one of the shooters at the rally and parade.

The shooting sent fans scrambling for cover and left 21 people wounded and one woman dead. Radio station KKFI said via Facebook that Lisa Lopez-Galvan, host of “Taste of Tejano,” was killed.

Two fans from Wichita, Trey and Casey Filter, helped take down the man with a gun suspected in the shooting and move the weapon.

“On the way home, we’re realizing how close we actually came to being involved in the initial shooting, and of course, we couldn’t have gotten much closer to the gun there. So, It is really a lot to process and be grateful for,” Trey said.

“They’re pretty proud of their dad. That’s pretty much all they can say about the boys. They’re proud,” Casey said. “That was my first thought when I saw it (gun) on the ground in front of me. I didn’t just expect to have, it was at my feet, and I just saw it, and I just moved it.”
