WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichitans participated in a Good Friday procession.

For the 35th time on Good Friday, a Filipino villager is nailed to a cross in reenactment

For two hours, people carried the cross as they moved toward the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Wichita. After arriving at the church, people gathered around the cross to pray.

Good Friday is a solemn day of mourning and reflection for Christians. It is part of Holy Week, which includes Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday, leading up to Easter Sunday.
