WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Wichita Wind Surge open the season on April 5 and on Tuesday released the promotions calendar.
On Opening Day, the Wind Surge will play the Frisco RoughRiders and will give away magnets at the game. Following the game will be a fireworks display.
There are 69 total home games in 2024. The Wind Surge said it has planned 13 fireworks dates, giveaways, a postgame concert, in-game promotional acts, Military Appreciation Night, and three Bark in the Park dates.
Here’s a breakdown of the weekly promotions for the 2024 season:
Two for Tuesdays: Get two tickets for the price of one every Tuesday home game when you show your Dillon’s Shopper Card or Dillon’s App at the Wind Surge Box Office.
Silver Sluggers Night, plus Half Off Wednesday: Groups of 20 fans or more receive 50% off ticket purchases.
Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $3 sixteen-ounce select beers and $2 sixteen-ounce fountain sodas every Thursday.
Fireworks Spectacular: Stick around after every Friday Wind Surge game for a fantastic fireworks show.
Surge Saturday: From giveaways to character appearances to theme nights and fiestas, there is something for everyone on Saturdays at Riverfront Stadium.
Sunday Family Fun-Day: Bring the whole family out for an afternoon matinee baseball game, complete with pre-game catch on the field and post-game Kids Run the Bases.
The Wind Surge will continue their pregame Happy Hour for all games with $5 domestic drafts (from gates open to first pitch).
