WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Highway Patrol said a distracted driver hit a trooper in Sedgwick County.
Video released from the KHP shows a driver clipping the rear-driver side of the trooper’s vehicle.
The KHP said the trooper had slowed down in traffic in Sedgwick County and was struck a short time later. Neither driver was injured in the crash.
The KHP says driving distracted is dangerous for everyone on the roadway and to put away cell phones and other devices while driving.
