Topeka man allegedly causes over half a million in damage to Union Pacific Railroad

MIAMI COUNTY, Kan. — A Kansas City-area woman delivered a new baby in the front seat of a car on 169 Highway on Tuesday.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office posted a video on Facebook of the remarkable event.
Deputies said they responded to a medical call on the ramp of 169 Highway and 225th Street near Hillsdale, Kansas.
When deputies arrived, they found a father who had just delivered his baby in the front seat.
While on the scene, deputies helped the mother and father use medical equipment as the Johnson County Emergency Communications Center provided life-saving instructions until emergency services arrived to take over.
According to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, the mother and the baby are both doing great.
