Vehicles crash on K-96 between Maize and Mt. Hope

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that closed some lanes of Kansas Highway 96 Monday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 11 a.m. on Kansas Highway 96, just west of 183rd Street West. That is between the towns of Maize and Mt. Hope.

At least one pickup and a semi were involved in the crash.

Some lanes of traffic were closed as first responders checked the conditions of the victims. Sedgwick County dispatchers say all the injuries are believed to be minor.

Amanda Stricker shared a video of what the crash scene looked like around 11:05 a.m. and then again as she had to travel the road again about an hour later.
