TOPEKA (KSNT) — A head-on collision involving two vehicles resulted in two people being sent to a local hospital.
According to a press release from the Topeka Police Department, at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, a Capitol Police Officer located the crash, which took place in the westbound lanes of NE River Road. This is just north of the Sardou Bridge.
Both drivers were taken to a hospital by AMR, one of which in critical condition.
This accident is under investigation, and east and westbound traffic is currently blocked off.
