Trump and Haley make last minute pitch to NH voters

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – And then there were two. That’s the big story out of New Hampshire ahead of the primary, as only former President Donald Trump and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley are left in the race to become the republican presidential nominee.

Even though it’s chilly in New Hampshire, the Republican primaries are heating up and voters tell us they are eager to cast their ballots.

“Don’t complain about what happens in a general election if you don’t play in this primary tomorrow,” said Haley.

The latest polls say she faces an uphill battle and that Trump continues to lead by double digits.

“We’re going to win New Hampshire, and then, we’re going to defeat crooked Joe Biden,” said Trump.

Haley’s campaign hopes independent voters in New Hampshire will help her push past Trump when all the votes are counted.

“I want to make it a live free or die country, and we’re not going to stop until we do it,” she said.

Former President Trump is scheduled to host a campaign event Monday night.
