TOPEKA (KSNT) – Construction for the next St. Jude Dream Home is in progress.
It’s the seventh brand new home that will be given away in Topeka. The three bed, two bath home is being built near southwest 29th Street and southwest Auburn Road in southwest Topeka. The home is being built by Drippé Homes.
It’s the fifth dream home that Drippé Homes has constructed. Gabe Riccomini, the Lead Project Manager, told 27 News this unique project is more than just building a home.
“It goes to that cause of helping these kids live and having a fighting chance,” Roccomini said. “So, being able to do these in Topeka, Kansas is special because not every state gets to do these.”
The house will be raffled off later this year. Construction is expected to be complete by July.
