Thunder Over The Heartland reveals lineup, tickets go on sale

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Excitement is building for a large air show set to happen in the skies above Topeka later this year.

Organizers for the Thunder Over The Heartland air show have released new information on social media about the performance Thursday, April 4 alongside details on how to get tickets. The “world-class lineup” for the show includes the following:

U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds

KC-135 – 190th Air Refueling Wing – Kansas Air National Guard

Douglas DC-3 – Vaerus Jet Sales

Brian Correll Airshows – Pitts S2S

TITAN Aerobatic Team

Bob Carlton – FoxJet

Team Fastrax

Matt Younkin, Younkin Airshows – Twin Beech

Nate Hammond, Ghostwriter Airshows – Super Chipmunk

In addition to the above performers, guests can expect to see some other spectacles like fireworks and a wall of fire while the show is in town. There will be three shows total running from Oct. 11 through to Oct. 13.

Tickets for the air show can be purchased at several different levels depending on the experience guests are hoping to receive. Ticket options can be found below:

General admission (Adults 16+) – $60

General parking – $35

The Flight Deck

Adult (16+) – $85

Child (5-15) – $55

The Thunder Club

Adult (16+) – $235

Child (5-15) -$185

Vaerus Jet Lounge

$1,800 per table per day or $4,600 per table all three days

Spotter’s Area

Daily (Friday-Sunday) – $175

Mega Spotter Package (Friday-Sunday) – $450

Arrival Day (Thursday add-on) – $45
