Threat to Topeka West High School being investigated

5 April 2023

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka West High School staff and families received an email Wednesday morning about a threat made to the school on social media.

The school will have a delayed start and open at 9 a.m. to allow law enforcement time to investigate the threat, according to the email.

Parents who would like to keep their children home for the day are given an excused absence, according to the email. The campus will remain in a secure campus status until law enforcement finds it is safe to open.
