Thousands of ‘dirty thirty’ fentanyl found in Geary Co.

GEARY COUNTY (KSNT) – The Geary County Sheriff’s Office says it has seized thousands of pills containing fentanyl.

At 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4 deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on I-70 in Geary County. During the stop, deputies found 7,000 counterfeit oxycodone pills destined to be distributed in the county.

As a result of the stop, several search warrants and arrests were performed. The sheriff’s office said more arrests are pending.
