Taylor Swift makes $100K donation to family of woman killed at Chiefs’ parade

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Music star Taylor Swift has made a $100,000 donation to the family of a woman killed at the Chiefs’ parade and rally on Wednesday.

Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a host of “Taste of Tejano” at KKFI-FM was killed when shots were fired outside Union Station just after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebration had ended. She is a mother of two.

Lopez-Galvan, whose DJ name was “Lisa G,” was an extrovert from a prominent Latino family in the area, said Rosa Izurieta and Martha Ramirez, two childhood friends who worked with her at a staffing company.

So far, Lopez-Galvan’s GoFundMe has raised just over $186,000.

Swift wrote the following note after making the donation, saying, “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.”

Swift is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and was at numerous games during the season, including the Super Bowl.
