GODDARD, Kan. (KSNW) — Tanganyika Wildlife Park has announced the hatching of African penguins.
“Tanganyika Wildlife Park is breeding to help diversify genetics of various species under human care and increase their numbers,” said Tanganyika. “African Penguins are listed as endangered by the IUCN Red List which is why we are happy to celebrate the hatches of these beautiful chicks!”
Tanganyika says the penguin pictured to the left is the youngest chick, born on Feb 5. to parents Murphie and Carson.
“This sweet chick is growing beautifully!” said the park.

Tanganyika says the penguin pictured to the right is the older of the two, born on Jan. 16 to parents Ava and Neal.
“This friendly chick is growing plenty with their love to eat a lot of fish as well!” said the Park.
