Sunny, warm start to the week ahead of storm potential for Monday night

14 April 2024

What We’re Tracking

Very warm again Monday

Storms likely Monday night

Windy for Tuesday

Mostly clear and still mild tonight with a little more moisture in place. With that increased humidity, look for morning low temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s for early Monday. The wind will stay light from the south throughout the night, as well.

After a mostly sunny, warm day on Monday, our next best chance for rain looks to arrive Monday evening or into the night with strong to severe storms possible. Some showers and storms may be lingering into early Tuesday. The greatest risk with these storms is hail, but strong wind and even an isolated tornado Monday night is not out of the question.

After this system moves through, we be quite windy on Tuesday, but stay well above average in terms of temperatures. We’ll be slightly cooler than over the weekend. Highs through midweek will be in the lower to middle 80s with nighttime lows in the 50s and lower 60s. Noticeably cooler weather settles in by the end of the week.
