Chance for rain early next week
With clear skies this morning and light wind temperatures are starting out in the lower 40s and even upper 30s. We should hold on to the lighter breezes throughout the day with plenty of sunshine. Afternoon highs look to top out in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Rain chances stay rather limited through the work week and weekend. We really heat things up over the weekend with summer-like temperatures expected. Winds will be gusty out of the south, sunshine and temperatures climbing up towards 90° both Saturday and Sunday!
Our next best chance for rain looks to arrive Monday afternoon and evening with showers lingering into early Tuesday. Some of the storms my be strong Monday evening, and we’ll keep an eye on this storm chance over the coming days.
After this system moves through, we stay well above average in terms of temperatures, but we’ll be slightly cooler than over the weekend. Highs through midweek will be in the upper 70s and low 80s with overnight lows in the upper 50s.
