What We’re Tracking
Showers and storms through tonight
Cooler Tuesday
Warming back up later in the week
Scattered storms are possible through the late part of the day and into the night. However, any severe weather should be limited to the early time periods (before the sun sets) and more of just a scattered rain chance overnight. Lows will cool back into the upper 30s and lower 40s behind the cold front for early Tuesday morning. That push of cold air could give the northwestern half of the area a chance for some snowflakes to mix in with rain very early Tuesday morning.
This leaves us a bit cooler for Tuesday with temperatures in the 50s with gusty winds through at least Wednesday. Highs for the middle of the week try and rebound to near 60°. After this, warm air moves back in for the latter part of the week. Temperatures climb back up into the lower to middle 70s by next weekend.
Another system moves in for the tail end of the weekend with showers possible late Saturday and into early Sunday. Hopefully, this system moves out for Monday’s solar eclipse, but as of right now, we may end up with some cloud cover.
