19 February 2024
We may see a few extra clouds move through today, but overall, we get to enjoy mostly sunny skies and warming temperatures this week. Our winds will be a bit breezy this afternoon with gusts around 20mph or so, but that should help warm us up closer to 60° despites some of that cloud cover.
Clear skies are expected tonight, and as our winds relax, we’ll eventually cool down closer to 30° by early tomorrow morning. Despite a cooler night, though, we’ll get a bit warmer through the day tomorrow as high pressure builds into the area. Highs will likely make it up close to 70° through the middle part of the week.
We look to be dry for the next 7 days or so, but there is a very slim chance for a couple rain showers that we are watching for late Wednesday and early Thursday morning, but right now that looks to remain towards the south and east of our viewing area. We may only end up with partly cloudy skies Wednesday and Thursday as that system passes nearby.
Above-average temperatures stick with us to wrap up February. It will cool back a bit at the end of the week, but still highs in the 50s for late February is about 10 degrees above average!
