Some showers into Tuesday, cooler temps through mid-week

2 April 2024

Some rain will linger into the start of our Tuesday. Chilly morning temperatures have stayed above freezing so as rain continues to track east, it is looking unlikely that any light snow will mix in.

Skies will be considerably drier once we head into the afternoon. Clouds will follow suit and also begin to clear out.

Gusty northerly winds behind a cold front will keep us cool today. High temperatures will only be able to reach the 50s.

Temperatures will start to rebound as early as tomorrow. This latest system will be nearby to our east and spin some wet and wintry weather into Missouri and extreme Eastern Kansas but our area will stay dry through the rest of the work week.

Another system swings through over the weekend, sparking some showers and storms. Saturday starts dry but is looking damp by late afternoon and evening.

A few showers wrap back around into the area through Sunday. Most of this moisture should be gone by early next week and just in time for the eclipse although we may need to battle some patchy cloud cover.
