Silver Alert issued for missing Garden City woman

GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KSNW) — According to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), a statewide Silver Alert has been issued for 68-year-old Carolyn Koentopp from Garden City.

The KBI says the whereabouts of Koentopp are unknown, and the public’s assistance is being requested to help find her.

According to the KBI, Koentopp was last seen around 5 a.m. on Friday, June 16, at St. Catherine Hospital, 401 E Spruce St in Garden City.

Koentopp is believed to be driving a 2022 black Jeep Gladiator. She may have a small brown dog with her.

Koentopp is a white woman who is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 100 pounds. She has brown and grey hair and green eyes.

Koentopp was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and denim jeans.

The KBI says Koentopp could be experiencing confusion and memory loss.
