What We’re Tracking
Showers & storms this evening
Chilly and breezy end to the week
Sunny and warming through the weekend
Rain continues through tonight and a few thunderstorms are possible this evening for our southern counties. We may see a few showers linger on into Friday morning. We’re likely to see some beneficial rain with this system, too, with a widespread 0.25″-0.75″ of rain expected with locally higher amounts possible in the eastern half of the area.
Highs get a bit cooler with the rain chances, though. Tomorrow will feel even chilly as our winds pick up tomorrow. Temperatures will likely be stuck in the 40s with wind chills in the 20s and 30s through much of the day.
However, the weekend looks sunny and temperatures rebound a bit on Sunday back into the lower 60s. We continue to rebound temperature-wise as we kick off next week. With quite a bit of sunshine, we’ll eventually make it into the upper 60s and lowers 70s for the first half of the week. Our next chance for showers and storms looks to arrive by the middle of next week.
