‘She’s awake!’ Family says girl nearly killed in boating accident finally alert

After nearly a week in a medically induced coma, emergency brain surgeries, and fighting pneumonia and a staph infection on top of it, the family says she finally woke up Thursday, recognized everyone and is following directions.
