Salina mother, nonprofit founder named KSN’s Remarkable Women 2024 winner

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – KSN is excited to announce the winner of our 2024 Remarkable Women series, Heidi Feyerherm-Smith!

All throughout March, KSN shared stories about women who are making a difference in Kansas chosen from nominations sent in by viewers:

Feyerherm-Smith took her 6-year-old daughter Chloe’s cancer experience and created a nonprofit that reaches beyond the United States. She launched the Love, Chloe Foundation, which supports families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis, in 2008 on what would’ve been Chloe’s eighth birthday.

KSN is making a $1,000 contribution to her charity.

Feyerherm-Smith will soon travel to Hollywood for an all-expenses paid trip, with more than 100 winners from across the country, sponsored by our parent company Nexstar Media Group. One woman will be named “The Nexstar Woman of the Year” and will receive a $10,000 contribution to the nonprofit of her choice.
