Russell to discuss middle school closure at meeting

29 January 2024

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Russell USD 407 will hold a meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the District Office Building at 802 N. Main Street to discuss closing Ruppenthal Middle School and the District Office

The district says the reasons behind the proposed closure are to reduce operating costs, to become more efficient in staffing and with space within facilities, and to become more fiscally sound.
