REPORT: Leipold hiring old friend as KU offensive line coach

20 February 2024

LAWRENCE (KSNT) – KU football reportedly has a new assistant coach.

Kansas football looks to be hiring Northern Illinois assistant Daryl Agpalsa as the Jayhawks new offensive line coach, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Agpalsa has a long history with KU head football coach Lance Leipold. He served as the offensive line coach under Leipold from 2012-13 at UW-Whitewater and 2014-18 at Buffalo.

Agpalsa joins as the replacement for former offensive line coach Scott Fuchs, who was hired as a Tennessee Titans’ assistant offensive line coach last week.
