What We’re Tracking
Rain likely this weekend
Drying out early next week
Mild temps continue, but slightly cooler
Our next chance for widespread rain looks to arrive late tonight. Showers begin to overspread the entire area through the day Saturday, and we could even hear some rumbles of thunder with heavier downpours possible. Winds pick up Saturday with gusts around 30-35mph with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Showers look to linger through the day Sunday, as well. A cold front swings through cooling us down into the lower 50s for the end of the weekend. By the time it’s all said and done, the entire area could pick up at least 1″ of rainfall with with slightly higher amounts possible to the west.
It looks like we clear things out by Monday as highs rebound a bit. By Tuesday, highs make it back into the upper 50s and lower 60s with a bit more sunshine. Our next system may move in as early as next Thursday, but by that point, we may be back up closer to the middle 60s.
