Rain tapers off by Sunday evening, sunshine returns Monday

What We’re Tracking

Rain through the weekend

Drying out early next week

Mild temps continue, but slightly cooler

Rain continues throughout tonight and showers look to linger through the day Sunday, as well. A cold front swings through cooling us down into the lower 50s for the end of the weekend. Rain looks to become more spotty in nature by Sunday afternoon and eventually we dry out by the Sunday evening.

By the time it’s all said and done, the entire area could pick up at least 1″ of rainfall with with slightly higher amounts possible to the south and west. The northeastern counties will miss out of a lot of the rainfall.

It looks like we clear things out by Monday as highs rebound a bit. By Tuesday, highs make it back into the upper 50s and lower 60s with a bit more sunshine. Our next system may move in as early as next Thursday, but by that point, we may be back up closer to the middle 60s.
