Power knocked out for 1,000 Evergy customers in Osage County

CARBONDALE (KSNT) – Evergy reports a large power outage in Osage County has left many of its customers in the dark on Thursday.

More than 1,000 Evergy customers are without power in an area of Osage County. The outage was first reported just before 11 a.m. with an expected repair time of 12:30 p.m. on March 7, according to the Evergy Outage Map. The cause of the outage is currently unidentified.

The outage impacts residents living in Carbondale, Mineral Springs, Four Corners and just outside the communities of Scranton and Wakarusa. You can check the Evergy Outage Map by clicking here.
