Kansas Highway Patrol stops more speeding drivers, says slow down

CHEYENNE COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — Plumbing problems have led to a second day of no school for USD 297.
“Parents and Students: In spite of the great efforts of all those involved in addressing our plumbing issues at the school, it has become apparent that we need another day to complete the job,” said St. Francis Community Junior/Senior High School on Facebook. “There will be NO SCHOOL for USD 297 tomorrow, February 14. Please bear with us!”
The plumbing issues started on Monday when a major sewer line collapsed, leaving the entire Junior and Senior High School without proper plumbing.
Work to fix the problem began on Monday afternoon and affected College Street, hence why the district was closed.
