Pleasant Monday, rain chances rise later this week

4 March 2024

Winds remain elevated as a cold front continues to slice through the Sunflower State. The front is also moving through dry, at least for us.

Temperatures early this morning range from the 30s to mild 60s. It is coldest to the north and west. Everyone will not be as warm as the weekend but high temperatures will still be pleasant.

Temperatures continue to tumble through the rest of the week, especially later this week when some moisture moves in with another cold front.

Rain chances rise by the middle of the week. A shower or storm will be possible beginning Tuesday night into Wednesday.

More showers will blossom and develop Wednesday night and Thursday. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible too but so far, severe weather is not expected. As temperatures turn cooler there will be a chance for some snow to mix with the rain to the northwest.

Some showers linger through Friday and then moisture moves out just in time for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday are looking dry with rebounding temperatures into next week.
