WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita Police have identified a person of interest in connection to a homicide that happened Tuesday at a west Wichita motel.
Police are trying to locate 43-year-old Larry Powell in connection to the shooting death of a 50-year-old Santa Cruz, California man around 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 5700 block of West Kellogg Drive. Powell is described as 5’4″ tall, and weighing 217 pounds.
According to police, he was seen leaving in the green minivan pictured below with a 60-day temporary tag. If you spot Powell or the van, you are asked to call 911 immediately.
