One critically injured in motorcycle crash in southeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — First responders were on the scene of a motorcycle crash where one person was critically injured on Friday night.

The call came in around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Pawnee and Ironstone, close to Pawnee and 143rd Street.

Wichita police said a man was driving a pickup truck westbound on Pawnee when a motorcycle driven by another man rear ended him at a high rate of speed.

WPD said the man was unconscious and transported to a local hospital. No one inside the pickup truck was injured.
