TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Tropics are no longer members of the National Arena League.
According to a social media post from the National Arena League (NAL), the Topeka Tropics current league membership was revoked on Thursday.
The NAL notified Tropics ownership that membership was being revoked due to violations of their League Affiliation Agreement. Those violations include failure to pay league dues and meeting other criteria to participate in the upcoming 2024 season.
The NAL is having discussions with new ownership as well as the Stormont Vail Events Center to allow the Tropics to participate in the 2024 season.
KSNT 27 is working to get a response from Tropics leadership on the situation. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
