Motorcylist injured in east Wichita crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in east Wichita Monday night.

The crash happened just before 8 p.m. near North Parkwood Lane and Central Avenue.

Upon arrival at the scene, Wichita Fire Department Lieutenant Oldfather says crews found a motorcyclist who was involved in a crash with a vehicle.

The motorcyclist was initially triaged as having minor to serious injuries. When EMS arrived on the scene, they re-triaged the motorcyclist with serious to critical injuries. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Oldfather said it is unknown how the crash happened at this time.
