What We’re Tracking
Mostly clear tonight
Warm, windy conditions continue through the weekend
A little cooler for next week
The cloud cover we saw overnight last night has finally dissipated. Temperatures drop down into the upper 30s and lower 40s tonight. Highs tomorrow climb into the middle 70s. High fire danger persists into the weekend with our windy, dry, and warm conditions. Relative humidity values can fall below 20 percent for some locations this weekend.
By the weekend, we may have a chance for a few thunderstorms by late Sunday evening! Near record breaking highs are in the forecast for Sunday. The slight chance for storms late Sunday and early Monday comes with another cold front, though. That does look to cool us back down for the first part of next week. Highs for Monday look to dip into the middle 50s before rebounding into the lower 60s Tuesday.
Looking ahead a bit, our weather pattern starts to get a bit more active by the middle of next week. So, while most of February was very dry, we may have more opportunities for precipitation for the beginning of March.
