Areas of clouds move through overnight, and with a light southeasterly breeze in place, that will keep our temperatures mild again. We look to only drop back into the middle 40s for overnight lows. For perspective, our average highs for this time of the year are in the lower 40s.
Cloud cover increases Friday, and our winds pick up a bit, as well. Expect gusts upwards of 25mph out of the south and east. Despite the clouds, and thanks to our winds, we may still manage to warm into the lower 60s.
Our next chance for widespread rain looks to arrive late Friday evening. Showers begin to overspread the entire area through the day Saturday, and we could even hear some rumbles of thunder with heavier downpours possible. Winds pick up Saturday with gusts around 30-35mph with temperatures in the middle to upper 50s.
Showers look to linger through the day Sunday, as well. A cold front swings through cooling us down into the upper 40s for the end of the weekend. By the time it’s all said and done, the entire area could pick up at least 1″ of rainfall with with slightly higher amounts possible to the west.
It looks like we clear things out by Monday as highs rebound a bit. By Tuesday, highs make it back into the lower to middle 50s with a bit more sunshine. Our next system may move in as early as next Thursday, but by that point, we may be back up closer to 60°.
