There’s a storm system passing by to the south and east of the area this morning. That’s leading to a bit of cloud cover south and east of I-35. Mostly clear and sunny skies return as the day goes on, though, but with a northwesterly breeze, we’ll likely stay near 50° for afternoon highs.
The wind returns to south for tomorrow, and that sends our temperatures back up into the lower 60s for the middle of the week. Sunshine remains overhead, and the weather should be beautiful for Super Bowl Victory Parade over in Kansas City on Wednesday!
There looks to be another cool down that sets up for the weekend. With that cooler weather, we’ll keep an eye on any precipitation chances as a weak system looks to be showing signs of giving us clouds and perhaps some rain or snow showers for Friday morning as the chillier weather returns. Highs will likely be in the upper 30s and low 40s for Friday and Saturday with overnight lows in the 20s.
