KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) — A lost and found site has been set up Thursday following the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl rally the day before.
Kansas City Manager Brian Platt said they have established a lost and found collection area located on the east side of Washington Square Park on Grand Boulevard.
It will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Thursday.
Platt said items will be securely stored overnight. For more information, people can call 311.
Kansas City police say a dispute between several people led to the deadly shooting Wednesday at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl rally.
At the conclusion of the rally, there were shots fired west of Union Station near the parking garage, and several people were hit.
Three suspects were taken into custody; two of them are juveniles.
Police Chief Stacey Graves stressed a preliminary investigation shows no connection to terrorism or homegrown violent extremism.
No charges have been filed at this time.
