Lawrence animal clinic closes office after 30 years

LAWRENCE (KSNT) – A local small animal clinic in Lawrence is closing its office for the last time at the end of this month.

Jarrett Small Animal Clinic announced on social media on Jan. 26 that it would be having its last day for its office on Feb. 28. The clinic was open for more than 30 years in Lawrence.

“We are so grateful to the amazing clients and friends that we have been trusted to serve over the years and for their long-lasting support. The difficult decision to close was made after much thought and in consideration of our clients. Every member of our staff sincerely thanks the many clients who brought their beloved pets to us for so many years.”

Dozens of animals found ‘living in hazardous conditions’ at Topeka home

People are advised to contact the clinic as quickly as possible before they close to get their pets looked at. Questions and transfer requests can be made by calling 785-749-2993. On March 1, requests can be sent to [email protected]. Jarrett Small Animal Clinic can be found at 2201 W 25th Street.
