Kitchen shears, razor blade found at Belle Plaine playground

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Belle Plaine Police Department is warning parents after a razor blade and kitchen shears were found in the playground at Watson Park.

A Facebook post said a citizen found the items at the end of the slide where a child would end up coming down the slide.

BPPD said the reporter told them the kitchen shears were found with the pointed ends sticking up with the handle down in the sand.

Police told KSN the razor blade was found stuck in the holes of the playground at the top of the slide.

Police warned parents to check the play areas if you take your children to play in any park.
