How to watch the Kansas City Chiefs 2024 Super Bowl parade from home
12 February 2024
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs are back-to-back Super Bowl champions after winning Super Bowl LVIII vs the San Francisco 49ers, and now it’s time to start planning for a victory parade and rally.
Kansas City leaders have confirmed to FOX4 the parade is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The parade route will start at 6th Street and Grand Boulevard, and the Chiefs will head south on Grand toward Union Station.
Here’s the official 2024 parade route:
The rally is scheduled to begin at approximately 12:45 p.m. in front of Union Station and the National WWI Museum and Memorial north lawn. It should last about one hour.
The weather should be much nicer Wednesday than it was for past Super Bowl parades in Kansas City, which will likely lead to larger crowds.
Road closures
Several roads will be closed, starting as early as Monday, as crews start preparing for the parade and rally.
Pershing Road, from Main Street to Kessler Road, will be closed beginning Monday as part of preps at Union Station for the rally.
Then road closures along the parade route will start at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The streets east and west of Grand Boulevard will be closed between Walnut & McGee from 6th Street on the north to Pershing Road on the south.
Main Street, from 20th Street to Pershing Road, will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians on Wednesday. Main Street from Pershing to 27th will be closed to vehicles but open to pedestrians. There will be additional closures on Main Street from 27th to 31st streets when the parade starts.
Union Station will be closed to the public starting at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday and reopen at about 4 p.m. Wednesday after the rally.
Drivers will be allowed to cross at the following spots until 8 a.m. Wednesday:
7th Street/Admiral Boulevard
Truman Road North and South
18th Street
12th Street (until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday)
13th Street (until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday)
Pedestrians will be cross the parade route at the following spots:
9th Street
13th Street
Truman Road

Still, organizers stress there will be significant travel delays around the parade route and Union Station, and drivers should avoid the area.
