Wichitans help tackle shooting suspect and secure weapon at Chiefs celebration

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Kansas City police want to hear from anyone in the vicinity of the parade shooting who directly witnessed the shooting incident on Wednesday.
They also want any video of the shooting. If you have any information, you are asked to call a dedicated line at 816-413-3477.
The shooting following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebration sent terrified fans scrambling for cover and left 21 people wounded and a mother of two dead.
Police say three people were taken into custody, and firearms were recovered. But no details have been given about those who were detained or a possible motive.
