K-State men’s basketball loses NIT opener, season ends

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KSNT) – Wildcat fans can say goodbye to the 2023-24 Kansas State men’s basketball season.

K-State lost at Iowa, 91-82, in the opening round of the NIT on Tuesday. Freshman guard Dai Dai Ames led the team with 16 points in the loss.

Kansas State finished the season 19-15 overall and 2-9 in true road games. The Wildcats went 8-10 in the Big 12 during the regular season before adding one win and one loss in the conference tournament.

Jerome Tang is now 45-25 as K-State’s head coach.
