K-State basketball suffers third loss in a row

MANHATTAN (KSNT) – The Wildcats lost for the third-straight time on Tuesday in Bramlage Coliseum.

The Oklahoma Sooners handed K-State its second home loss of the year and just the third home loss since Jerome Tang took over the program.

OU held K-State to just one made shot from the field in the first 11 minutes of the game. K-State dug itself a 14-3 hole and was never able to come back from it.

Oklahoma won 73-53. It’s the second 20+ point loss in a row for the ‘Cats.

K-State falls to 14-7 overall and 4-1 in Big 12 play with the loss. The Wildcats visit Oklahoma State on Saturday, Feb. 3.
