WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Kansas State University announced on Thursday that it has collaborated with a new official Name, image and likeness partner.

Wildcat NIL, primarily made up of former K-State student-athletes, is an independently owned and operated group of supporters -who have joined together to provide NIL opportunities to student-athletes.

“Name, image and likeness continues to evolve and be a big part of the current landscape of college athletics, and it was very important for us as a department to partner with a collective so we can provide our student-athletes every opportunity to benefit from NIL,” Athletics director Gene Taylor said in a news release. “Wildcat NIL has taken enormous strides over the past year to help our student-athletes any way possible, and we are pleased to recognize them as our official partner for NIL.”
