K-Nation (3/31/24) – Devin Neal, basketball transfer commit, K-State top plays and more

1 April 2024

NORTHEAST KANSAS (KSNT) – This week’s episode of K-Nation stretches from the turf to the hardwood.

KU senior running back announced his decision to play out his senior year in Lawrence rather than test the NFL draft waters back in January, but he joins K-Nation to unpack that choice. In a one-on-one with K-Nation’s Caroline Soro, Neal talks the decision to stay home, his goals for 2024 and more.

It was a busy weekend on the diamond for Big 12 baseball and softball. KU softball was swept in a three-game homestand by the top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners, but a late-game Campbell Bagshaw home run kept things positive.

K-State baseball lost two of three in a homestand against Texas, but closing pitcher Tyson Neighbors returned to the mound for the first time this spring. KU baseball snagged a series sweep on the road in Provo against BYU and cemented itself at fifth place in the conference.

To wrap up basketball for 2023-24, it’s season recaps for KU and K-State men’s and women’s basketball. And to put a bow on it all, the K-Nation team put together the Top 10 plays from K-State men and women’s basketball this season. Top plays from both KU hoops teams will air at a later date.

K-Nation airs every Sunday night on KSNT after 27 News at 10. It’s a 30-minute weekly sports special revolving around K-State and KU sports. Click here for more K-Nation content.
