NORTHEAST KANSAS (KSNT) – This week’s K-Nation has no shortage of star power.
Kansas men’s basketball is no stranger to the stars either. Next in line – ESPN’s top-ranked center in the 2024 class, Flory Bidunga.
K-Nation’s Glenn Kinley made the trip to Kokomo, Indiana, to talk to Bidunga and a slew of community members about the big man. The story begins with Bidunga’s trip from The Republic of the Congo to the United States, as Kinley tells the story of KU’s next great big man, who will be a fan favorite with how much he is loved on and off the court.
The show also features an exclusive one-on-one with K-State senior point guard Tylor Perry. Kinley sits down with Perry, and the two open up about the challenges of the season, including Perry’s on-going relationship with former Wildcat Nae’Qwan Tomlin.
For months, fans have had the Sunflower Showdown – with both Ayoka Lee and Taiyanna Jackson in the game – circled on their calendars. The game lived up to the hype, with Kansas guard Holly Kersgieter calling the Jayhawk win her favorite memory in Allen Fieldhouse.
K-Nation features updates from both football coaching staffs, along with a commitment from each starting quarterback to a popular video game franchise.
Kansas softball has picked up six-straight wins, highlighted with an upset over a ranked Texas A&M team. Both baseball teams picked up at least a win as the season gets underway.
K-Nation airs every Sunday night on KSNT after 27 News at 10. It’s a 30-minute weekly sports special revolving around K-State and KU sports. Click here for more K-Nation content.
